 In April of 1993, in its first real estate transaction, HAL entered into a partnership with Intrawest U.S.A., Inc. to acquire the Newmark Residential Tower and commercial center with the objective of converting the residential units to condominiums. The 25-story tower consists of 191 residential units and is located one block from the Pike Place Market in downtown Seattle. The building offers an outstanding location, sweeping views, and a full amenity package. The units were converted to condominium use and by the end of 1994 were completely sold out.
