1410 East Pine Street | Seattle, WA
The Braeburn is a 153-unit residential and commercial condominium that HAL developed in Seattle's Capitol Hill neighborhood between 2004 and 2006. The Braeburn takes its name from the Red Apple grocery that once occupied its site on East Pine Street between 14th and 15th avenues. Braeburn was conceived and developed around the "hiving" concept in which one designs a project to both create community within the building as well as integrate the building into the community in which it is situated. Braeburn resonated with buyers and set a regional record by selling 59 units on its opening day.
